Making Disciples, Training Future Pastors and Church Leaders, Providing Libraries and Other Resources
Started in 2004 as Build the Village, Communities of Grace International has impacted the lives of thousands of individuals. Our mission is to glorify Jesus Christ and make Him known by being the hands, feet and heart of Jesus in villages and communities across East Africa. We accomplish this mission in four key ways: Evangelism & Discipleship, Community Building, Church Planting and Humanitarian Efforts. Communities of Grace International partners with U.S. church and missions groups to arrange short-term missions group to assist our local partners who are on-the-ground in Africa.
Our most important role is helping to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have been blessed to see thousands of individuals come to know and trust in Jesus thanks to the blessing of God and our evangelism efforts. Communities of Grace goes a step farther in providing ongoing discipleship support – from providing Bible resources and studies to training individuals to serve as ministers and elders within their local church.
With that said, we understand that we cannot properly proclaim the gospel without also addressing the very real physical needs that face our brothers and sisters in Africa. We are actively involved in identifying opportunities to reach out to the orphaned and widowed, those who are suffering from childhood diseases and those ravaged by war and AIDS.
We understand the needs are great. But we trust our God is greater.
